Wayne Alldredge began his career in 1988 at Johnson Controls, installing building automation systems, and has since dedicated himself to optimizing building performance. As a former building engineer and manager of engineering teams, he deeply understands the daily challenges faced by operators and operations managers.
His experience includes roles at JMB Properties, Equity Office Properties, ABM Engineering, and JLL, where he applied Six Sigma and Lean Kaizen principles from General Electric to address energy and environmental issues.
In 2008, Wayne founded Improvement Facilitation (IF), serving clients and subcontracting for organizations like GE, NBC/Telemundo, Delta Faucets, Universal Studios, JLL, Verdical Group, VCA Green, and various hospitals. Through commissioning and Kaizen initiatives, he identified millions in annual savings.
In 2010, JLL hired him as Portfolio Energy Manager, where he collaborated with Honeywell, University of Phoenix, and Intel on energy management and projects, including a $2.25 million central plant and ultra-pure water reclamation retrofit for Intel in Chandler, Arizona—delivered on time and on budget, earning a record $660,000 rebate from SRP.
At IF, Wayne's mission remains building enduring client relationships by analyzing operations and equipment against business goals, recommending solutions that save energy, reduce costs, protect the environment, and enhance maintenance.
Today, Wayne serves as Director of Sustainability and Regional Engineering Manager for Servi-Tek Facility Solutions - Engineering Division. He is a Board Advisor to an educational non-profit, and a Senior Technical Advisor to USGBC California, where he teaches G PRO classes.
